This is a scam, I have been a victim of these calls since january 2010. I got a call from a christopher jones very strong accent. I Paid them once before got scammed out of over 750.00. these people have obtained your information and won't stop calling, they used to call once a month with the same story claiming to be from an attorneys office, law enforcement ect always the same, and 3 charges pending against you. this is first call i have had in three months, they will keep calling. contact the FTC federal trade commission file a report 1-877-FTC-HELP this is fraud and they are trying to take americans hard earned money. contact local law enforcement, FBI,BBB and if you talk to them get as much information that you can from the caller, but do not give them any more information or money. Also by law they are required to validate the debt in writing within 5 days of contact, they will refuse and will get nasty and threaten you more and even hang up on you.
